About Us

Su Mon Kyaw BDS (Lond)

Su qualified from the Dental School at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in 2000 with distinctions in the 4th year clinical test and 4th year prosthetic project. She received funding from the Dickinson Trust Award for her elective period which she spent at the Dental School at Universtity College Los Angeles in 2000.

After qualifying, Su spent one year doing vocational training in Bournemouth before returning to London in 2001. She has been working in Teddington since then and has thoroughly enjoyed being part of the community and caring for her patients.

Su likes to constantly grow and develop her skills. She keeps up to date with the latest in dentistry by regularly attending training courses and lectures. She is a British Dental Association Member and is also a member of the ’42’ Study group in Notting Hill where members get together for seminars and peer review. She also enjoys conferences and trade shows where the latest technology is availabe to see and try having recently attended the World Aesthetic Congress.

She is certified in fitting mandibular advancement appliances for people suffering with sleep apnea and snoring and is also certified to provide facial rejuvenation procedures such as botox and restylane fillers. She is partway through becoming a Member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (MFGDP)

Su has been working with her nurse Linda since 2001 and was delighted to be able to remain together as a team at Elmfield House.

In her free time Su enjoys kitesurfing and snowboarding. She also enjoys festivals and bands and on the opposite side of the scale can sit in silence to meditate!
